Keep Your Magazine on Newsstand Racks Longer

Tom Feruggia, a very wise newsstand consultant, reminded me today of this oldie-but-goodie tip . . . one that is still a missed opportunity for  many publishers.  If you have less than monthly frequency (are a bimonthly or quarterly, for example), help the staff who restock shelves by letting them know when your issues go off-sale.  Add a “display until” date right next to your UPC code.
