This sample was sent to me by Mike Davin, a talented editor who attended the University of Missouri’s    J-School.  He turned me on to the Reynolds Journalism Institute’s website, which is loaded with tips to help editors engage and retain readers of news websites.  This is a good example of placing the call to action right where the action is.  Simple, and effective.
